Education is vital to receiving the best care for all of our patients. Not only do we offer extensive in home training and education to staff and families of our patients, but also comprehensive in-service classes to educate staff on the proper use of equipment and care for patients.
Our Education Covers:
- Tracheostomy Tubes
- Tracheostomy Care
- Suctioning
- Operation and care of all patient used equipment
Our ventilation in services will assure confidence when working with a ventilator in the home setting. We will go over in detail ventilation modes, alarms and troubleshooting with hands on instruction of the equipment. It is important to us that our patients are mobile and for that reason our in-services include portable use of the ventilators from monitoring systems to HME use. Education participants receive hands on experience with the ventilator and all equipment to facilitate a level of comfort using the equipment before discharge date
